Comedian and musically talented Tim Minchin will arrive in Birmingham to play The NIA this December. Tim Minchin is an Australian, musician, actor, comedian and writer. Tim is best known for his musical comedy, which has featured in three CDs, three DVDs and a number of live comedy shows which he has performed internationally. In 2005 he won the Director’s Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for his break-out show Darkside, and was the winner of the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer for having one of the most successful debut acts ever at the Edinburgh Fringe. Tim Minchin has also made appearances on various radio and television shows, including the BBC's Never Mind the Buzzcocks, BBC Radio 4's Mark Watson Makes the World Substantially Better and two specials on BBC Radio 2 in Britain and Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.
