The hugely talented American Scissor Sisters will arrive in Birmingham to play the LG Arena in September. The band has been hugely successful in Europe, Canada, Australia, and particularly in the United Kingdom, where they have achieved a number of chart hits. Their debut album ‘Scissor Sisters’ was the best-selling album of 2004 in the UK. Scissor Sisters single ‘I Don't Feel Like Dancing', which they collaborated with Elton John, from their second album titled ‘Ta-Dah’ was the fourth best-selling single in the UK in 2006 and stayed in the UK top 40 for 27 weeks. Over the years Scissor Sisters have won a number of awards including three BRIT Awards for Best International Group, Best International Breakthrough Act, and Best International Album. Ta-Dah won the group a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Music Artist and the Ivor Novello Award for Most Performed Work for ‘I Don't Feel Like Dancing’.
