Classical Spectacular returns to The NIA on Saturday December 5 with a new production featuring more lights, more lasers, more fireworks and more of the special effects that have thrilled audiences worldwide. The programme includes Handel’s Zadok the Priest, Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5, Bizet’s The Pearl Fishers Duet, Rossini’s William Tell Overture and for the first time in Birmingham, Gershwin’s Rhapsody In Blue. With the English Concert Chorus, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, The Band of the Welsh Guards and the Muskets and Cannons of the Moscow Militia and lighting by Durham Marenghi, Classical Spectacular is a visual feast not to be missed.
